Neuro Linguistic Programming

NLP has been called an instruction manual for the brain, helping people change negative behaviours and thought patterns and become more successful, healthier and positive.

NLP presupposes that most problems derive from the internal models in our head. Patterns of behaviour and language that have been learnt over the period of our lives.

Another way to think about this is that our view of the world is unique, it is shaped by our own perceptions, which may be very different to other peoples. Through understanding how our own unique model works, we can learn to change unhelpful or destructive habits, thoughts, feelings and beliefs, exchanging them for more positive ones.

These powerful techniques are quick and easy to use with remarkable results that lead to real and permanent change. NLP can help you feel great about yourself, enabling you to overcome fears and achieve a level of emotional freedom you never thought possible.

NLP is broken down into three parts:

Neuro – refers to the neurological process of seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling and tasting. The basic building blocks of experience.

Linguistic – is the way we all use language to interpret, represent and organise our experience and communicate with others.

Programming – refers to the strategies and techniques we use to organise these processes and produce results.

Both NLP and TFT are used frequently by Paul Mckenna on his weight loss seminars and tv programmes.

"I’ve been through thousands of terrible experiences in my life, and some of them actually happened"  Mark Twain
